What I do
I work with companies and organizations to design learning programs that solve real problems: onboarding that takes too long, training that nobody finishes, knowledge that doesn’t transfer to the job. Every project starts with understanding what your team actually needs, and ends with a solution that fits how people learn, not just what they need to know.
L&D Strategy & Course Design
Before building anything, I work with your team to understand the real learning gap. What do your people need to be able to do? What’s getting in the way? From there, I design the full learning architecture: objectives, content structure, delivery format, and assessment strategy.
This isn’t about filling slides with content. It’s about building a program that connects to your business goals and works within your constraints, whether that’s a small team with no dedicated L&D function or a large organization rolling out training across departments.
What this looks like in practice
- Needs analysis and learning objectives aligned with business outcomes
- Full course architecture (modules, sequencing, assessments)
- Blended learning design combining online, self-paced, and live components
- Content strategy for onboarding, upskilling, compliance, or role-specific training

E-Learning Development & LMS Implementation
I build digital learning environments on Moodle and other LMS platforms, from initial setup and configuration to content development and learner analytics. I also work with organizations that have existing in-person training and need to bring it online without losing the quality of the experience.
This includes creating interactive content using H5P, developing video-based learning modules, setting up assessment and feedback systems, and configuring analytics so you can see what’s working and what isn’t.
What this looks like in practice
- Moodle LMS setup, configuration, and course building
- Interactive e-learning content (H5P, SCORM, video modules)
- Transformation of in-person training into structured digital programs
- Learning analytics dashboards and progress tracking
Gamification & Learner Engagement
Most corporate training has an engagement problem. People start courses and don’t finish them, or they finish but don’t retain anything. Gamification can fix this, but only when it’s done right. Adding badges and points without understanding what motivates your learners is just decoration.
I use PeGaM, a research-backed framework I developed during my doctoral work at RWTH Aachen University, to design gamified learning experiences that are personalized to how your people learn. This means selecting the right game mechanics for your audience, aligning them with learning objectives, and measuring the impact on engagement and completion.
What this looks like in practice
- Learner motivation analysis and personalization strategy
- Gamification design using the PeGaM framework
- Integration of game elements into existing or new courses
- Engagement tracking and iterative improvement based on learner data

How I work
Every project is different, but the process follows a consistent logic. I start with analysis: who are the learners, what do they need, and what does success look like for your organization? Then I design the structure and content, build or implement it on the right platform, and set up tracking so we can see results.
I’m comfortable working as a standalone consultant on a full project, as part of a larger L&D team, or as a specialist brought in for a specific phase like LMS implementation or gamification design. I work remotely and adapt to your tools and workflows.
