Hi! I am Nadja
Thanks to that, I now have expertise in several fields, primarily in Computer Education and Marketing. At the moment, I am a self-employed web developer and educator, and a Ph.D. student at the RWTH Aachen University in Germany. Given that my experience so far has been built around learning and technology, it is not surprising that I am doing my Ph.D. in the field of Technology Enhanced Learning.
I am very passionate about my job and what drives me the most are challenges through which I can grow and progress. I firmly believe that knowledge is power, and every moment invested in obtaining it is time well spent.

2017 – now
I’m currently positioned as a Ph.D. research assistant at Learning Technologies and Didactics Research Group (i9), Faculty of Informatics at RWTH Aachen University, in Germany under the supervision of prof. Dr. Ulrik Schroeder. My doctoral dissertation titled “PeGaM – Personalized Gamification Model for Designing E-learning (Programing Language) Courses” addresses the lack of engagement and motivation in e-learning courses at Computer Science (CS) education. The thesis investigates the potential of Gamification in Education, which is a process of incorporating game-like techniques in non–game contexts.
My studies are funded and supported by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
